200hr Teacher Training

At MYA, we’re redefining yoga teacher training by addressing the gaps often overlooked in traditional programs. We train yoga instructors to expand their teaching beyond studio walls, bringing yoga to private homes, workplaces, corporate wellness programs, events, and outdoor spaces—reaching individuals who may not typically attend studio classes, while creating more opportunities for financial growth and flexibility.

Our 200-hour Yoga Alliance-certified training goes beyond the studio, integrating yoga therapeutics, myofascial release, mobility exercises, and more. We teach a holistic approach to movement and wellness, grounded in a deep understanding of fascia and how it shapes the body. Our sequences are designed to be accessible anywhere—in studios, workplaces, or private sessions—giving you the tools to meet the unique needs of every student.

Meet Lauren, your lead instructor for the 200 hour YTT

  • Yoga Alliance continuing education provider with over 1,000 hours of training.

  • E-RYT 500 YACEP and 20  years of experience specializing in:

    • Hatha Yoga Anatomy and Physiology

    • Yoga and Hip Therapeutics

    • Spinal and Core-Initiated Movement

    • Structural Integration and Body Reading

  • Trained with yoga experts such as Simon Borg-Olivier, Tiffany Cruikshank, Julie Gudmestad, Tom Myers, and many more. 

  • Extensive expertise from private client sessions, teaching in studios, and leading multiple  trainings and workshops for 10+ years.

  • Committed to training teachers to reach diverse students beyond studio walls, empowering inclusive and accessible yoga practice

How to Get Started:
The Application Process

Ready to take the next step toward becoming a certified yoga instructor? Our application process is straightforward and designed to ensure you are fully prepared for this transformative journey.

Step 1: Reserve Your Spot

Submit your deposit or complete our scholarship request form to secure your spot in the program. Not quite ready? Feel free to schedule a call with one our our trainers.

Step 2: Enrollment Confirmation

You will receive an official confirmation of your enrollment. At this point, you'll be asked to submit an application detailing your yoga journey, your expectations for the training, and any relevant history or experience.

Step 3: Chat with a Trainer

After your application is reviewed, you will be invited to a brief call with one of our lead trainers.

Step 4: Prepare for the Training

You'll receive a welcome packet with details about what to expect, required reading, and how to prepare for the training. You'll also be introduced to our support team, who will guide you through the preparation process.
